Tendril Grape Macroalgae | Botryocladia leptopoda

Botryocladia, also known as “Red Grape Caulerpa”, or “False String of Pearls” is an attractive red macroalgae that grows to resemble a vine of grapes due to its grape-like, fluid-filled bladders. This particular species features spiraling, tendril-like branches with full clusters if fluid-filled “grapes.” It is a much rarer species from the Indo-Pacific region.
