Red Racer Nerite Snail | Vittina waigiensis

SHIPPING RESTRICTION: THIS ITEM MUST BE SHIPPED VIA FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT SHIPPING!

Incredibly ornate, rare snails from the Philippines. They are typically sold for freshwater systems, but are found in both brackish and marine environments in the wild as well. In fact - the species requires full marine conditions in their larval stage.

These snails will come fully acclimated to marine conditions.

*Disclaimer: while we personally have never had snails do sufficient damage to macroalgae species, there is always a chance of snails taking a liking to a particular macroalgae. Snails may cause minor damage to some soft/thin macroalgae species in the process of cleaning. MosaicMacros is never responsible for damage to algae by snails.
