This Nemastoma species is very thin, gelatinous & slippery to the touch - and should NOT be glued! It is difficult to get a cutting to form a holdfast & it should be tied down with fishing line or loosely anchored with a zip-tie (preferably a clear one.) This particular species develops fluorescent-orange tips that glow under actinic lighting. This is definitely not a beginner species!
