A small, strikingly-colored reef-safe sea urchin species known for their unique trait of “decorating” themselves with shells, rocks, corals, and macroalgae. Pincushion Urchins may feed on complex macroalgae, and are particularly enticed by calcareous species (such as Coralline, Cymopolia, Jania, and the sort.) Assorted colors, may be purple, white, red, or a mixture.
