This is a very rare species of Caulerpa. Caulerpa brachypus, also known as Mini Caulerpa, or “sea mustard,” is a prolifically-growing marine macroalgae that is most often used in the display aquarium due to their attractive, small blades. This species forms a long stolon as well as holdfasts that will hold the algae in place within the sandbed or rockwork of an aquarium.
