Blue Live Wire Macroalgae | Coelothrix irregularis

Coelothrix irregularis is a very small, attractive reddish-purple macroalgae with bluish-green iridescent tips that grows in a wire-like clump, similar to Chaetomorpha. This species sports a gorgeous, deep purple coloration under full-spectrum lighting and will develop the blue iridescence depending on how the algae is viewed.

**Please note that this algae may appear green/brown/purple when first arrived and will color up after a few days under your tank lighting. It most likely won’t show iridescence at first!**

**Cuttings shipped will not be overly dense, and will appear spindly.
