Iridescent wire algae is an attractive, purplish-red macro algae with bluish-green iridescence, that grows in a wire-like clump, similar to chaetomorpha. This species sports a gorgeous, deep purple coloration under full-spectrum lighting and will develop the blue iridescence depending on how the algae is viewed.
