Caulerpa verticillata, also known as Fuzzy Caulerpa, is a prolifically-growing marine macro algae that is most often used in the display aquarium due to their attractive fuzzy blades. This species forms a long stolon as well as holdfasts that will hold the algae in place within the sandbed or rockwork of an aquarium.

**Like all Caulerpa, this is a potentially invasive species in an aquarium.**

**Caulerpa will almost always appear white/translucent right out of shipping. This is due to the chloroplasts moving deeper into the algae’s tissue when exposed to the dark. This is normal and is not a cause for concern. Healthy Caulerpa will color back up after a few hours of light exposure.***
