The Flaming Prawn Goby does best in a mature aquarium with plenty of live rock, small caves, and sheltered areas where it can feel secure. Due to its extremely small size and timid nature, it should be kept with peaceful tankmates that will not intimidate or outcompete it for food. Offer tiny meaty foods such as copepods, enriched baby brine shrimp, finely chopped mysis, and other appropriately sized frozen foods. Although often secretive, its spectacular coloration and unusual appearance make the Flaming Prawn Goby an exceptional choice for established nano & pico reef/macroalgae aquariums.
