These small snails are no harm to most macroalgae and will routinely scavenge for microalgae such as hair algae in aquariums. These cerith snails are covered in Coralline, Laurencia, Batophora, sponges, and other species of algae. They’re like tiny living algae clusters - and are a favorite of ours in displays! Snails will be .5-1” in length.
