Encrusting Laurencia is an attractive red macroalgae that grows in a unique branching pattern. It sports stiff, erect branches that form little knobs at the tips. It can be red, pink, or yellow. A very small species that will creep along the rockwork, creating holdfasts, similar to turf algae.
