Electric Flame Scallops are interesting, beautiful bivalves known for their bright orange mantle & tentacle-like appendages. This species hails from the Indo-Pacific, and features a bioluminescent flashing line on their mantel, hence the common name. They are filter feeders & should be target fed with phytoplankton or similar foods.
