Caulerpa lanuginosa has upright, fuzzy, cylindrical blades. This species is rarer to come across when compared to the more common species of Caulerpa and does not grow as quickly. It’s fairly slow growing.

**Like all Caulerpa, this is a potentially invasive species in an aquarium.**

**Caulerpa will almost always appear white/translucent right out of shipping. This is due to the chloroplasts moving deeper into the algae’s tissue when exposed to the dark. This is normal and is not a cause for concern. Healthy Caulerpa will color back up after a few hours of light exposure.***
