Branching Hex Macroalgae (Purple Form) | Scinaia sp.

Scinaia sp. is an attractive red macroalgae that grows in a unique, rubbery branching pattern. Similar to regular Branching Hex, though this morph grows thicker branches with a pale reddish-purple coloration. The pale purple coloration comes from the type of lighting it is grown in, and can appear maroon/deep red in lower light (and during shipping.)
