Bramble Thicket Macroalgae | Galaxaura sp.

Galaxaura sp, also known as “Thickets”, are an attractive, reddish-pink macroalgae that grows in the a branching pattern. This species has fine filaments along its thallus giving it a fuzzy appearance, and is not commonly available in the hobby. It is a very, very small species, maxing out at only a couple of inches.
